Landscaping Process

Please see our charge rates for all parts of the process.

Step 1 – Initial consultation

Grass treeWe come to you, have a look around, bring in some photos and have a good chat about what you want and how you use the area.  We will need building plans you have of the house, site plans, floor plans and elevations.  A scanned copy or PDF is fine.

Think about the things you do outside and the type of look you would like. Tell us anything particular you want for example a type of rose or cubby for the children. We will go through a questionnaire with you to ensure we don’t miss anything.

Please give us an idea of your budget and we will do our best to stay within it.

Back at the office we will write a summary of our meeting and give to a quote for designing and drawing the concept. When you are happy we captured your needs and wants in the summary and accept the quote we move to the concept plan.

Step 2 – Concept Plan

Often we will need to come and take some measurements at this stage, depending on what is currently on site and to confirm further details that we feel need on site verification. Once we have all the technical details we can create a concept plan, this can take a few weeks and a meeting or two to get right. It is always a good idea to sit with the plan for at least a week before making any decisions, once it goes to site it is expensive to make changes.

Step 3 – Quote

Once you are happy with the concept we will write up a quote.Installing a landscape design

Step 4 – Construction

On acceptance of the quote and a down payment, usually 50%, we will finish documentation and complete any council requirements. The job will be scheduled and materials ordered. The removal of existing material, construction, planting and clean up can take a few days to several weeks depending on the size of the job.

Step 5 – Handover

When we have finished we will train you how to use any controllers, pumps etc we have installed and make sure you are happy with the result.

Step 6 – Maintenance

All gardens need maintenance.  We can provide ongoing support for the irrigation and fertigation system or your whole garden.

We sell a range of environmentally friendly fertilizers and soil wetters for your convenience as well as a range of spare parts if you are up to fixing things yourself.
