Lilac Drip line and Vacuum valve
Earth & Water have supplied and installed 100’s of drip irrigation systems into residential gardens and commercial projects.
Subsurface Drip Irrigation, Invisible Irrigation; Otherwise known as subsoil drip irrigation is indeed hidden under your turf or under your garden bed mulch!
Netafim, Neatafirm, Neatafim, subsoil, sub-mulch, under lawn irrigation, Miniscape, Techline, Uniram, Landline, dripperline, subterranean irrigation, under turf, drip reticulation are all terms used.
Drip Irrigation is made with drip emittersinserted at regular intervals into a polyethylene tube. The emitters drip at set flow rates depending on the dripper inserted into the tube during manufacture.
The drip lines are laid in rows 300mm to 500mm apart depending on the soil type and plants water requirements.
Benefits of Drip Irrigation:
- no evaporation and no over spray
- no water run off
- deliver water and fertiliser directly to the roots
- vandals damage sprinklers, dogs eat them, drip is out the way.
- reduce weed growth
- no more bore water stain
