This is guide is based on the average iron bore water treatment system in Perth. 

Step 1: Site Consult & Water Samples

We carry out a site consult to collect information that impacts the design of your bore water treatment system with a focus on these factors:

  • End water use
  • Building & irrigation layout
  • Plumbing & electrical access
  • Bore pump flow rate & pressure

We take bore water samples for external laboratory analysis which provides the mineral profile as a basis of your bore water treatment system design. 

Time: 8 business days
Cost: $190 – Site Consult
+ $240 – External laboratory water analysis (not applicable if you already have your raw bore water data).

Step 2: Design & Approvals

It takes 4 business days to design a bore water treatment system that effectively reduces iron levels and is fits into the layout of your home.

Minor adjustments are made and the quote is approved during this time.

Time: 4 business days
Cost: $2,750 – 50% Deposit to start works

Step 3: Installation & Handover

Time: 2 business days
Cost: $2,750 – 50 % outstanding due

Step 4: Maintenance

Once a month the chlorine needs replenishment. This costs about $20 per month if you do it. 

Your bore water treatment system needs an annual service to backflush and rinse accumulated iron from the sand filter. We do this every August, to prepare your system for summer. This costs approximately $275 given the chlorine has been replenished regularly.

We can replenish your chlorine or you can do it yourself.
