Scope of Project

This client has over 200 species of plants… not including the herbs and spices on her vertical garden wall! Earth & Water worked with the client to source the huge variety of tropical fruit trees, flowers and filler plants. In this interesting arrangement we had to install various zones to suit the demands of the unique plants. There are 5 banana trees that have grown quickly and now produce fruit! 

The VERTICAL HERB GARDEN is on its own irrigation zone. Each module contains a single plant and utilises a trickle down system that is water efficient. The structure of the herb garden means plants needing most water and sunlight are placed at the top and less so at the bottom. Earth & Water uses an autonomous irrigation system that changes seasonally to make sure the herbs and spices are getting their daily drink of water when they need it most!
