Safety & Enironmental Management

People and Places are not replaceable so we strive to grow and protect them.

Our Active Approach

We are incredibly fortunate to operate in Western Australia where the air is clean, the water is pure and the people are a loving community.

Appreciation of our people and place is embedded into the actions we take every day in business. That is why we take an active approach to operating in ways that grow and protect our way of life.

The central belief that good business practices has the potential to make the world a better place tomorrow is our way of measuring success.

Safety Management

We acknowledge that our operations have health and safety risks that pose a risk to our employees, contractors and our communities. Safety is our greatest and foremost priority in every business activity and we actively reduce the potential for risks to occur.

By working with our employees to instil a culture of safety and duty of care for ourselves and others, we prevent risks from escalating out of control.

Over the years our adherence to strong internal Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Management Systems has mitigated risks to our people and our communities. Our OHS Management Systems include:

  • Mitigation Strategies (HSE Risk Register, SWMS, JSEA, toolbox meetings & PPE)
  • Continuous improvement and training of health  and safety education
  • Document Control

Mental Wellbeing

Our employees are also our friends and members of communities that extend beyond what we see on a daily basis. We take extra measures to make work environments a safe place to be mentally and emotionally.

These are aspects that we support our people and communities in:

  • Upskilling & training
  • Career growth
  • Job satisfaction
  • Healthy decision-making

Environmental Management

We take the approach of mitigation instead of rehabilitation by working with stakeholders to reduce the impacts of business activities on the environment.

As a water based company we actively support and update our services to maximise water-wise outcomes. This is particuarly important for the sustainable use of Perth’s limited water supply.

By working with government bodies, suppliers and contractors we have a comprehensive Construction Management Plan (CEMP) and Environmental Management System’s (EMS) that minimises our impact on the environment of Western Australia.

Water Policy

We operate in ways that return water back to the environment without contamination, compromise or harm. Including;

  • Overflow
  • Discharge or spillages
  • Excess emissions
  • Leakage
