I’ve got a true short story to explain why.  A customer called Jim wants to do a garden makeover for the traditional Christmas lunch at home. So he calls Earth & Water. After a site visit and a quote decides he decides against it and to do it himself for much cheaper.  Jim goes ahead and does the job himself but doesn’t use Benara Nurseries or Earth & Water. He uses a much cheaper nursery instead. As christmas gets closer Jim notices many of his plants are looking ill. The flowers lack colour, the leaves are wilting and weeds are spreading in his succulents. He calls up the nursery and organises to get them replaced free of charge. The established plants are too small and too young, the succulents are waterlogged and the infill flowers are scraggley. Jim is devastated that he hired a trailer and drove to the nursery for nothing. He is also stressed because Christmas is next week. He makes the executive decision to go to Benara and pays more to get the healthy plants he needs for Christmas.
